TEDx: REAL

A global title sequence collaboration, led by Substance studio.

TEDx Sydney is an annual conference invited studios from all over the world to collaborate on a title sequence. Happily, on invitation from Substance this dream was able to be shared by some of the best motion studios and sound partners in the world. After all, TEDx is about ideas worth spreading, and with "reality" so open to interpretation, accurated global collaboration as perfectly suited to capturing the kaleidoscopic nature of the theme.Postoffice Studios was also a part of it and was fortunate enough to work on the conceptualization of our segment.

behind the design

This vibrant, action-packed film explores how technology connects people across the globe, shrinking physical distance and enabling instant communication. The protagonist travels through metaphorical "dimensions," representing the limitless possibilities of human connection and knowledge sharing in the digital age. Each "dimension" features unique art styles, emphasizing the contrast between different realms of information and communication. Fast-paced camera movements maintain a dynamic tempo, underscoring the ever-evolving nature of our interconnected world. The film celebrates how technology propels us forward, fostering innovation and continuous learning.
